Protocol for usage of NCCI Logo


Purpose of This Protocol

                                            

This protocol ensures the correct, consistent, and respectful usage of the National Council of Churches in India (NCCI) logo across all communication platforms, internal and external.

NCCI Logo has three designs: 1- NCCI logo with the full expanded name in one line. 2- NCCI Logo and NCCI abbreviation beneath. 3- NCCI Logo with full name of NCCI on the right side of the Logo.

Ownership & Rights

  • The NCCI logo is the intellectual property of the National Council of Churches in India.

  • It must not be altered, misrepresented, or used without prior authorization.

Who Can Use the Logo

The NCCI logo may be used only by the following, after approval:

NCCI Departments & Commissions Allowed for official work
NCCI Member Churches & Regional Councils With prior permission
Partner Organisations & Ecumenical Bodies On approval for joint initiatives
Media, Press & Publications Only with written approval
Individuals & External Institutions Strictly prohibited unless granted permission

Approval Process

All requests must be submitted to the NCCI Communications Desk at communications@ncci1914.com with copy to ncci@ncci1914.com.

Request must include:

  1. Name of organisation/person requesting

  2. Purpose of usage

  3. Platform of usage (print, digital, event, video, etc.)

  4. Duration of usage

  5. Sample of how logo will be used (draft design if applicable)

Approval will be given in writing only.

Correct Usage Guidelines

Do

  • Use the official logo in its original form and colours.

  • Maintain clear space around the logo equal to the height of the logo cross.

  • Ensure the logo is visible, clear, and proportionate.

Do Not

  • Distort, stretch, rotate, or change its shape.

  • Modify colours, fonts, symbols, or text.

  • Place the logo over busy or unclear backgrounds.

  • Combine the logo with another organisation’s logo without joint-branding approval.

  • Use the logo for commercial, political, or personal gain.
