AICCS is a new Ecumenical fora of the National Council of Churches in India (NCCI) focusing on school education. Till date we did not have a national forum addressing concerns of schools run by our churches.

Aims and objects

a) To serve the educational needs of the society by bringing together as affiliates in a common platform of all recognized schools managed by the Member Churches of the ational Council of Churches in India under one roof / umbrella to improve the standard of education in schools without any discrimination as to caste, creed, colour, disability religion or gender and to render secular education, co- education and all other educational activities including moral and social education by way of institutional or otherwise.
b) To inculcate child-centred schools and make them safe spaces for such children by ministering and focusing on school dropouts and late starters in particular to bring them into the mainstream.
c) To engage in relating with the State level, National level Statutory, Regulatory bodies to address issues among member Schools, and network, collaborate with other NGOs and Government agencies to foster sustainable educational Research training, Educators Training and Management including Science and Technology towards a sustainable educational environment.
d ) To address the competitiveness among Christian Schools with the Government Schools, to be forums for mutual learning to impart education by promoting more value-based system in member Schools, and to formulate accrediting system for Member Schools to advance their educational standards.
e) To undertake relief of poverty, relief of poor without any discrimination as to
caste, creed, religion or gender, and to render and extend humanitarian services to those
suffering, to give financial or other assistance in kind or otherwise, by way of distribution of books, uniforms, or food for the poor or to grant scholarships, stipends, grants and financial aid for poor, deserving and needy students for elementary, higher and professional education in as much as for the purpose ofadvancement of education and research.
f) To render cultural, social, economic, environmental, and sports activities among all, to arrange youth exchange programs nationally and internationally and to perform such sustainable developmental activities in cultural, educational, economical and scientific programs, and to provide opportunitiesfor exchange of programmes, leadership, literature etc.
g) To extend all other public charitable and humanitarian activities without any discrimination as to promote human oneness, brotherhood, peace and amity among children, youth , elder, seniors and all in developing good citizens and nation building .
h) And to render all such activities, generally accepted deeds and things as may be conducive to the attainment and in furtherance of any or all the aims and objects as above and for the purpose of establishing and executing the objectives thereon irrespective of any caste, creed, color or sex or religion, and all the above objects will be rendered on non- commercial , non-profit basis.
